Album

Every album cover has its own meaning and relationship with the music. Album 2013 13 Songs. Страна: США. Come Up and Get Me and No Love are skeletal monstrosities built from subterranean boom, technoid synths, and MC Rides tormented lyricism and gory acrobatics. but when I think about No Love Deep Web's big white dick. Death Grips - Lock Your Doors. Artificial death in the West. World of Dogs 6. Originally called No Love, it was announced along with their debut album, titled The Money Store, that was released on April 24, 2012. Death Grips - Whammy. but would it be the same cover used if they had a vanilla album release Without the label shinanigans. As far as the argument over whether Death Grips are indie rap's great, destructive Dada Art crew or whether they are just the genre's Spinal Tap, the excellent No Love Deep Web suggests they're the sophisticated former, even when the album's title is written on an erect penis for all the world to see. Death Grips - Year of the Snitch Full Album - Продолжительность: 37:13. Verified Purchase. Album release date: 1 October 2012. Black dice 5. Probably my favourite death grips release to date - abrasive beats with an air of experimentalism throughout. On August 12, 2012, Death Grips announced that the album title was changed from No Love to No Love Deep Web. Death Grips - World Of Dogs. Vinyl November 19, 2013. But he's balancing on a balcony, high up in what appears to be a rather well-furbished neighborhood, his toes hanging just over the ledge. Stockton 11. Death Grips - Black Dice. The group also increase their reliance on programmed drums as opposed to Zach Hills live drumming. how do I put this It seems like it was less an album cover and more of a FUCK YOU to the label and everything that was going on at the time. The cover was a photo of band member Zach Hill's erect penis with the album title written. tldr: great album, sounds great, fantastic price some versions of NLDW are 500 on some record trading sites Read more. Shirtless so as to expose the web of tattoos on his body, Death Grips frontman MC Ride stands with his back to the camera, his middle fingers foisted high and a cigarette tucked into his left hand. Death Grips - No Love. No Love Deep Web is the second studio album by experimental hip hop group Death Grips. The original cover of the album caused a lot of media controversy. Whammy 8. Pop 12. Where previous albums showcased Death Grips dense productions, this time the trio strip their sound to its barest essentials. The album was initially scheduled for an October 23, 2012 release, however, the band self-released the album online for free after their record label, Epic, supposedly pushed the album's release to 2013. After the band was dropped by Epic, the album was made available for purchase via Harvest and Third Worlds Records. Bass rattle stars out the sky 13. No Love Deep Web - Death Grips. The 13 tracks on NO LOVE DEEP WEB thrive on paranoia and aggression, feelings threaded together by the sense that everything could be ending right now. For the second time this year, Death Grips have released a record that's both ruthless and rewarding. Songs in album Death Grips - No Love Deep Web 2012. Lock your doors 7. Death Grips - You might think he loves you for your money but I know what he. Don't get me wrong, I actually think the cover is badass, artistic, striking, beautiful, adjective. Released by: Third Worlds. The cover was a photo of band member Zach Hill's erect penis with the album title written. Come up and get me 2. Hip-Hop Experimental Noise. Lil boy 3. Death Grips. It was leaked by the band on October 1, 2012, due to complications with Epic Records regarding its release date. Hunger Games 9. Death Grips - Lil' Boy. deathgrips nldw33. NO LOVE DEEP WEB stylized as NØ LØV DP WB is the second studio album released by Death Grips. Comes in a striking black oversleeve with 'no love deep web' printed on it to hide the explicit cover, the sound quality is what you'd expect from vinyl. MC Ride's lyrics are stellar in NLDW and create imagery unparalleled by other music artists today. The album received a great deal of media controversy for its album cover of Zach Hills penis, resulting in the below alternative being made available. Death Grips - Come Up And Get Me. No Love Deep Web stylized as NØ LØV DP WB or simply NO LOVE DEEP WEB is the second studio album by Death Grips. This one having a more abrasive sound and harsher lyrics than its predecessor. • Absurdly high quality pressing... one of the few records in my collection that I would say sounds MILES better than the digital version. Loving the really minimalistic and intimidating labeling and design as well. Did this masterpiece justice.

  • This is my favourite DG album. It is undeniably their darkest and most internally tormented album, both sonically and lyrically. The relatively familiar, straightforward rhythms of the drums compliment Stefan's impassioned vocal delivery and make for an accessible yet intense experience. The melodic elements play secondary here, and this was a great artistic decision as the album comes off as being incredibly raw, bloody and somewhat intimidating in presence.

  • 10/10 pressing, no issues on my end at all, great dynamics

  • Sounds really good. The bass is deep and well defined, sound is clear.

  • prolly the lowest quality pressing from death grips i own. sibilance is present, especially on the track World of Dogs, alot of pops and crackles at the beginning of the album, and the label is quite off center. its dangerously close to touching the stylus when it enters the locked groove.

  • Does anyone else have a weird problem with the label? Mine is coming off, not like peeling but like, bubbled, like the machine didn't press it right.

  • I have no problem with the former label not having been willing to release some senselessly profane artwork some castrate wannabe must have found particularly ingenious in order to market their advancements in undermining decency, but I have a hunch that this is not what you meant.

  • I had the same problem. I thought about it...what went wrong! Why? After I decided to commit suicide. Finally I bought another one copy & all ok - here I am. I m still alive...

  • I've had that problem with a µ-Ziq record before. Not really sure what the cause is, but it probably isn't specific to this release.

  • Mine is really off-center, with the black circle where it should have been centered unpunched and visible.

  • Happened to me with a copy of Ty Segall - Singles 07-10 before over the summer. Ended up with two labels on one side, never had it happen with any other records before that though.

  • I just wonder if that means there's someone out there who has a copy with no side A label.

  • I've had a similar thing with an Outkast LP, it had two of the same label on one side, with the top barely on there. I'd assume that the machines that put the labels on records aren't perfect

  • On second look it appears that maybe I have two labels on one side; if I look under the hole I can see white and some black marks that could be the text? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

  • Is this limited to 1500 copies as well like the other Harvest/Caroline press?

  • no sir

  • They're almost certainly part of the same run.

  • This pressing is not that uncommon among the batch. It is the exact same as the other NLDW Harvest/Caroline release, with the sole exception of the runout. Pirates Press uses GZ Media to manufacture their records, so GZ Media simply used their already-made stamper with the Pirates Press runout from the self-release to fill part of the larger, widely distributed run. Don't bother paying anything extra for this edition over the Harvest/Caroline one with the gzvinyl.com runout, unless the runout on the vinyl really means that much to you.

  • Stupid late to the conversation but I just discovered my copy is one of these Pirates Press/Harvest pressings. I wonder if there's any collectible value to this particular version as the years have gone by.

  • It means that is another true limited edition record. The new pirate press ones are the new ones floating. I would buy extra for a limited run of the black matte cover.

  • The information about Pirates Press using GZ Media for their pressings is available on their website. They also describe storing the mother stampers for at least 3 years in case they're needed for a repress. A mother is good for around 1000 pressings of a record, then is usually recycled afterwards. What most likely happened was that GZMedia used the Pirates Press mother they had stored, since it probably still had at least 500 good uses left in it. When GZMedia made a new stamper to complete that larger run of records, they changed the runout to gzvinyl.com, their standard runout label.

  • Where'd you find that pressing info for NLDW? It just seems weird that GZ Media would continue to use a catalogue number/etching from a previous release that doesn't really apply to this one, when they could have used the current one all along.

  • How did you get this? did you get this if you got it from amazon US?

  • I own the original and my copy from Amazon came with the Pirates Press runouts. I can confirm its the exact same press that was used because there is small defect in the runout where a scratch is between "DEATH GRIPS" and "A". My original Pirates Press and Pirates Press by Harvest both show the scratch.

  • Ordered mine on Sept.14th from amazon, interested to see what turns up.

  • I ordered mine from amazon US too back in september but im in the UK so i'll have to wait and see but i almost stopped the order when i heard it wasnt just on amazon, so i'll wait and see

  • I received my copy from Amazon US. My order was placed on September 10, though, so I don't know what that tells you regarding supplier queues or if this is a one-off fluke. I wouldn't order one from Amazon now and expect the same product variant that I received. The only identifiable difference is the runout (can't compare audio since I don't have the www.gzvinyl.com pressing).EDIT: Turns out Pirates Press uses GZ Media for all of their pressings. My guess is that two stampers were used for this run of records: the first being the one used with the self-release, and the second being a duplicate stamper with their standard gzvinyl.com runout.

  • man oh man i sure do wish one of my favorite albums didnt have a giant penis on the cover so i could show it to people

  • I don't know. The penis on the cover looks to be a normal size. You should be okay showing this to friends.

  • I m still wondering the differences between ORIGINAL (self-released) & the REPRESS (Third Worlds, Harvest). I mean on sound & not on matrix numbers or on labels etc. Although, repress of DEEP WEB lp is not a bootleg (as EX-MILITARY double bootleg came out).

  • If you REALLY like this on vinyl & you already paid 400bucks for the original, throw the outer black plastic, take the cover, put in on a frame & then place it on the wall of your room, over your head where you sleep! A honest HUGE message straight from DEATH GRIPS INC. Don't be shame....:-o

  • Yeah that was me who bought it ... Speaking to a few people about it ... I was told that they were pressed by the band and sold at some of their shows back in 2012 ... They apparently ditched some lp's at one gig and a few made it into some record shops in NY ... Any, more info is appreciated ...

  • There have been LPs up on Ebay. One sold for $565.

  • I guess the band released some LPs at their shows.

  • Appears to be the case. We know there's at least a couple of them floating around...

  • Shame Epic played it the way they did. A vinyl release is no option anymore. Though it did save me from having this penis in my recrd collection.
