Features the origonal members with mostly new songs but an added bonus of acoustic versions of four songs including Just Wanna Make Love To You off their first album and Take Me to the River from the album Night Shift. A fitting swansong for a great boogie band. Read more. 4 people found this helpful. Listen free to Foghat Return Of The Boogie Men Jump That Train, LOUISIANA BLUES and more. 12 tracks 54:29. Foghat were the gods of boogie when I was a teen-at least they were when Status Quo wasnt hogging the old turntable. Over time, the bands obtuse, party-hearty approach came to represent all that was lacking in the decades rock scene, but that unflattering reassessment never fazed me. In recent years Ive proudly replenished my 70s collection with CD versions of fave Hogfat discs like Energized and Rock and Roll Outlaws. Post navigation. Album review: Queen, Queen at the BBC 1995.
