It has been featured on the 2001 documentary DVD Wingspan and Paul McCartney & Wings 1974 TV special One Hand Clapping. Lyrics and music. Paul McCartney, the writer of Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five , has said that the song originated with just the first line. With a lot of songs I do, the first line is it. Us guys in Oosh do love The Beatles and their subsequent musical outlets quite a lot. This tune here is the finale from Paul's 1973 album, 'Band On The Run'. The song has so much energy and has been screaming out to be played on the dancefloor, especially by us, for too long now. Enjoy

  • Can't believe the price of this. The 7" version is available on Phonica's website for £7.99, grab it while you can!

  • 7" has only 1 track 1 0 wo rd s

  • Listen to it on the Phonica Records website. It's interesting but it isn't $200+ interesting.

  • My copy arrived yesterday and im very pleased with it!

  • I bought it, listened to both sides and I'm now selling it. It's not worth the money it's going for on eBay and here but if the demand is there, what are you going to do?

  • looks like a boot, tastes like one too, but its a breakfast cereal!

  • Timo Maas did this pile of shite apparently ha ha.

  • Completely agree, so much hype and its just not that good. Typical of the 'grippers and flippers' to give it such status.Like the tossers on record store day sleeping outside the stores the night before. The sad bastards need to get in first, so they can sell the stuff on discogs the next day at triple the price.I'd be fucking embarrassed is someone gave me a copy of this for free. But to pay for it, I'm sorry you must be mad, so much more you could do music wise with 280 quid.Getting so tired of the hype people give to such records, its the negative part of buying music these days, "this is rare" or "only 300 in the world" who gives a shit?I couldn't care less if they pressed tens of thousands on 10 different formats. The record is either good or bad, and this one just simply isn't that great. This money grabbing, its goes against everything house stands for, by that I mean their elitist shitty corporate attitudes.

  • how do you know it's him ? where does it say

  • This record is complete toss, a fine example of the modern day vinyl hype machine. I won't hear anything otherwise, it's complete toss.

  • I heard this is getting a repress! How many times do limited releases get repressed ;)

  • Must just be your copy. No pops or clicks on mine although it is pressed fairly quiet.

  • Really crappy quality pressing with loads of pops and clicks...

  • I didn't say i work for Distribution on this Release but i contact Them and they told me their is no repress planed ! That's it, i don't understand why you want me to be the bad guy! I am not Bad, i am 200% Dedicate to the Music,Doing My Best to Send every day, i also want this record but i prefered to sell it and like that i can get more Vinyls.I do all i can to Have Rare Items, and i always try to be the lower Prices if i can. and this record is the only one i have in this range of prices. So sory for you.But After 10 years on Discogs I will not go Anywhere! i wish you the Best , :-)Jerome

  •   Tvinyl.shop - so you work for the Distro for this record, and your listing one of these for £150 on Discogs. please shut the door on your way out, we don't want you here.

  • Wher do you get this Info? i work also for Distribution and i don't have the same infos! Thank to let me know what sourses for saying that? Thanks Best Regards

  • So i Reply to Both of you! This Record is Special because of the songs , and limited white label. edition 300 copies No REPRESS ,NO other Version, and also because This Record have big Demand from collectors so 300 copies For the World, give to make prices jump. i agree 250€ look Crazy but you have some records solded much more. To get some copies of this Records i spend all day and night to listen music and select from Distributors, so when i find one record can be sold with 200% Profit not 2000% i am Happy to get back something for all this free time spend in finding this GEMS! and you find one like this every few month!

  • I know what does limited pressing mean. And I also find it a bit exciting that some records gain value through time and some get it instantly. But it's surprising for me that such simple and ordinary edits gain this attention. Cheers

  • Records gain their value through time, e.g. look at the old Theo Parrish releases. The fact that they are repressed in a differentiated version with yet the same content makes them collectable too. If I want an original pressing, well I'll have to pay the price, but there are also people that want to enjoy the records without putting all of their enthusiasm into making as much profit as they can (even if it's just 200%, instead of the 2500% in this example) and therefore we have an option with a repress. And yes this is a gem, yes this is a record I want to have, but we aren't at the stock market, we're here to bring vinyl back and not to limit it. This is the sad part.

  • what's so special about this record? I don't get it :/

  • There is nothing special whatsoever, I only came across this as I follow your activity!

  • The moment you go and buy a record for 9,99£ or even lower and try to sell it a few days later for 2000% profit (not even joking) makes you lose the connection to vinyl and it's unique feeling. Some people just lost the passion...

  • Please let me know if you have a copy at a reasonable price. Regards

  • I Succed to Get Two copies tomorow i receive them, you can contact me for offers!

  • 25 p. and some chrisps. more words more words, we need more words.

  • I'm sure there'll be more of these. If not it's cheaper to cut a dubplate.
